WHO WE ARE
We are a congregation of Christian believers whose purpose is to worship and serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We believe in the entire Bible as the inspired word of God and follow it to the best of our abilities.
We believe we are called to fellowship with and love all Christian believers.
We are Christians only, but not the only Christians.
WHAT WE TEACH
There is one God eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things. (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1; Matthew 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus Christ, God’s only son and the Savior of the world, died for our sins and rose from the dead. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8)
The Holy Spirit convicts the world in regard to sin, righteousness and judgment, and indwells every believer and equips them for personal growth and service to Jesus Christ. (John 16:8-9; Acts 2:38; Ephesians 1:13-14)
The Bible is the inspired, written Word of God and the final authority for all matters of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:14-16)
Man, created by God, willfully sinned and as a result, is lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ. (Romans 3:23, 6:23; Acts 4:12)
Salvation – the forgiveness of sins – is available only by the grace of God through the blood of Jesus Christ. This free gift of salvation is offered to all who receive Christ as Lord and Savior. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Colossians 2:6; John 3:16)
The Church is the body and bride of Christ on earth, consisting of all Christians everywhere. (Matthew 16:13-18; Acts 2:14-47)
OUR PURPOSE
Our purpose as a part of the body of Christ is to mimic Christ and follow His teaching as we see revealed in the Bible. We have no denominational names, creeds, or structures to uphold, but simply seek to uplift Christ as Head of the church, and preach His Word as the guide for what we teach and do. This we believe is the basis upon which unity in Christ can be a reality.
OUR CHRISTIAN ENDEAVORS
To love, nurture, and in all ways care for one another as the body of Christ.
To share the Gospel of Christ with our community in accordance with the Great Commission;
To provide a haven for any Christian to joyfully worship, mature, and serve the Lord;
To teach and build up the membership in the knowledge and wisdom of the Holy Bible;
To further the Kingdom of God through the support of missionaries throughout the world.
